NPELRA Foundation (Anthony C. Russo Scholarship Awards)

The NPELRA Foundation is a nonprofit subsidiary of the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA). The Foundation provides scholarships to deserving graduate students studying labor and employee relations or a closely related field. The Foundation seeks to provide worthy graduate students interested in a career in public sector labor and employee relations with financial assistance.

2009 Anthony C. Russo Scholarship Awards Winners, who received a $3,000 Russo Scholarship:
 

Jennifer Egami is a candidate for the Masters Degree Human Resource Management at the University of Hawaii where she also earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She is employed as Assistant Human Resources Officer by the Maui Community College.		Katherine Lopez is seeking a Masters in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Lopez serves as Hollywood, Florida’s Human Resources Officer. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University,
Erin Stenson attends the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where she is pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations. Her undergraduate degree was from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She current works for the City of Madison as a Human Resource Analyst.
