The Iowa Public Employer Labor Relations Association (IaPELRA) is devoted
to providing a unique opportunity for the exchange of perspective, information and
skills in the field of public sector labor relations in the state of Iowa.
Our membership ranges from attorneys with decades of experience to the city
clerk that has to wear many hats in a smaller community. Whatever your job title
or other responsibilities are, if you are charged with the task of answering those confounding questions regarding employee behavior, employment laws or how
much to pay for a position, then this organization is for you!
IaPELRA members are professionals working in municipal, county and state
government and school districts who represent management in labor relations.
As a member of IaPELRA, not only will you be able to draw from a vast pool of
